WINEMAKER JOBS

Key responsibilities include:

- Crush - Winemaker will be involved with harvest decisions. Many wine styles in production now.
- Winemaking - Winemaker will, using input from the Managing Partner, implement winemaking decisions while continuing current winemaking styles.
- Bulk Wine - Routine wine monitoring and lab work - Winemaker will monitor the status of all wine on site. Both in-house analysis and an outside lab available for quality control.
- Inventory and data collection- Winemaker will accomplish record keeping of inventory.
- Bottling - Winemaker will coordinate with Managing Partner and oversee bottling with existing mobile bottling company.

The winemaker will also be responsible to support facility and grounds maintenance, include supervision of labourers in the vineyard and buildings. In addition to wine production activities, the winemaker will also be responsible for the following:

- Have tasting room interaction with other staff and customers.
- Speak at winemaker's dinners and other hospitality events.
- Represent the winery at trade shows, competitions and marketing events.
- Perform minor repairs and maintenance to winemaking and vineyard equipment.

Required Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in winemaking (or related field).
- Experience as winemaker or assistant winemaker.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Computer skills with Microsoft Office.
- Ability to be flexible and work independently.
