My client a leading live music / club venue are looking for an Assistant Venue Manager, You Must hold a Personal License
Salary will be £24 - 30k
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
To effectively and efficiently manage all Club, Gig and Event operations within the venue, including function activities.
To manage allocated budgets and meet performance targets.
To act as Duty Manager.
To promote a customer focused culture within the company by example and by encouraging in house training of all staff through an agreed training plan.
To ensure the use of current Standard Operation Procedures by all staff within the company and to update these as necessary with management team.
To ensure the effective management, motivation, training and development of all staff employed
To ensure facilities comply with all relevant legislation relating to health and safety, food hygiene regulations and licensing legislation
To set clear standards and objectives and monitor and evaluate their success.
To promote a safe, healthy and environmentally secure environment.
Manage Bar Operations to include:
Auditors stock take.
Managers Stock take.
Daily line Checks.
Daily buildings / bars Inspections.
Weekly buildings / bars Inspections with the Cleaning supervisor.
Implementation of a Bar training program.
Arranging meetings with all respective Brand Managers in order to get best possible deals/sponsorship for staff uniforms, cocktail/wine lists and just building a relationship between the brand and the venue.
Liaising with the Ops Manager re. all up and coming events.
Overseeing all bar ordering, deliveries and inputting of data into Zonal.
Overseeing of all bars with the head bartenders re. fully stocked with the correct products, clean and all H&S procedures adhered to.
Monitoring all staff i.e. general conduct, presentation, punctuality, performance.
Overseeing all riders, comps etc. are delivered on time, transferred correctly and put through Zonal.
