Our client, Rankin Brothers & Sons, is a market leader providing closure solutions to the UK drinks and packaging industries. It is an independent family managed business supplying closures and merchandising products to the packaging industries at home and abroad. Founded in 1774 the Company has a long and proud association with beers, wines and the spirits industries. It has a large product range which includes bottles corks, stoppers & capsules, heat shrink sleeves, beer barrel bungs & fittings, tamper evident caps and plastic mouldings.
The Company has ambitious plans for further growth particularly in the wine and food sectors and is seeking to employ a Customer Development Manager to help drive these plans forward.
This will be a field-based appointment with the successful candidate having the opportunity of working from home. Applicants must have experience of the drinks/food industry packaging and will have the ability to develop strong working relationships with existing clients and generate new business through the creation of proposals, the delivery of sales presentations and response to tenders. Working with the Sales Director you will gather business intelligence and actively look to develop new opportunities in the target areas of wine and food.
For this role you will need to be dynamic, resourceful and ambitious and share the Company philosophy on customer relations. You thrive on achieving and surpassing targets.
