Mexican prisoners barred
Police uncovered a bar serving beer, tequila and vodka - to inmates in a Mexican prison.
The saloon was found at a jail in Chihuahua city, the state capital, in the north of the country.
Sportingly, perhaps, the bar also housed bar games and a billiard table.
Authorities confiscated over 200 beer cans, 12 bottles of tequila and 20 bottles of vodka.
Jorge Chaires, spokesman for Chihuahua state's prosecutor for prisons, confirmed the deputy director had been sacked and guards at the low- security prison were under investigation.
Elsewhere in the country, 17 inmates escaped from another northern prison, apparently using a tunnel they had dug from the laundry room.
