Domaine Direct was founded in 1981 to bring the best domaine-bottled Burgundy and Beaujolais to the UK. We have expanded our portfolio to include wines from quality, small producers in the Loire and New Zealand and are proud to have been the UK agent for Leeuwin Estate for 18 years.
We are looking for a dynamic, hardworking salesman to develop our sales throughout Southern and South-West England together with the Cotswolds + Birmingham. They will inherit an existing restaurant and hotel client base which will need management and nurturing, but they will also be required to develop a substantial amount of new business and act as an ambassador for the company, endeavouring to promote and develop the business.

Key Skills:
Proven sales experience and sales success with the on-trade - needs to show that they have made a genuine contribution to the profitable business of their current employer.
Excellent verbal communication skills both face to face and over the telephone.
Strong written communication skills.
Keen to be part of a growing business and of its development.
Specialist knowledge of wine and of the restaurant market.
Team player, with the ability to identify and share information which is relevant to the rest of the business promptly and clearly.
Organised and efficient - excellent administration skills (for example, keeping and sharing with London head office up-to-date records)
Self driven, results-orientated with a positive outlook, committed enthusiasm for fine wines and for selling them.
Able to work independently, on own initiative
Resilient and competitive.
Self-confident and personable.
