Business Development Manager
SodaStream Out of Home (UK)
As Business Development Manager you will develop the overall Sales & Marketing strategy to optimise a new product line introduction in the UK on premise market. You will be responsible for developing brand awareness, establishing a strong customer base and coordinating marketing and public relations efforts to ensure presence and buzz in the defined channels.
You will a have a successful background in on-trade sales and be able to demonstrate real drive and initiative in your career so far.
Responsibilities:
Identify the most profitable and effective introduction strategy through your knowledge of the sector and by tracking industry insight.
Align with the other entities of the Group to gather best introduction and roll-out practices.
Identify and evaluate potential business deals and the key customer environments by analysing the market place, deal requirements, commercial and brand-building potential, evaluating options; resolving internal priorities; recommending equity investments.
Manage the sales activities of the companys products. Closes new business deals by coordinating requirements; developing and negotiating contracts; integrating contract requirements with business operations.
Identify and manage the maintenance support function to ensure quality execution in each customer environment.
Develop marketing & trade strategies to maximise quality and introduction success.
Execute and monitor performance of the introduction versus budget and take corrective actions where needed.
You will report to the General Manager in UK.
Requirements:
The candidate we are looking for needs to be a very dynamic and motivated individual with a good B2B food and beverage background. Bags of energy, initiative and intelligence.
Preferably 3 to 5 years experience in on-trade sales.
