We now require a Quality and Product Development General Manager to lead an innovative and high quality food and beverage focused team. Ideally you will have had extensive experience within the Dairy Foods Industry. An experienced executive is required who can lead continuous improvement through the development, evaluation, implementation and application of Quality Assurance policies and procedures to ensure efficient implementation of the Companys approach to quality.
The General Manger will lead the division to ensure QMS activities and processes are in compliance with company quality assurance standards and applicable government regulations across the Group. Suitable candidates with at least ten years relevant experience will have the following attributes and/or experience:
Worked with blue chip/listed companies in the Dairy Foods/ FMCG sector;
Educated to degree or equivalent level, possibly with an additional business or quality related qualification such as an MBA;
Work effectively with government ministries, regulators and industry bodies.
The successful candidate will have an existing knowledge of Quality Management System principles, product innovation requirements and practice, and experience of 1st, 2nd and 3rd party auditing. A strong understanding of quality tools and techniques and of project management phases/stages, specifically in a product development environment.
Key skills required include conflict management, decision quality, planning, strategic agility and priority setting.
