What will I do as a Regional Manager?

Based within the Liverpool area you will work directly for the Regional Sales Director with responsibility for achieving the planned net margin targets within the designated customer base, whilst driving our brand equity and portfolio forward.

It is a fantastic development opportunity for an individual who would like to gain firsthand experience working within a key operational field based role. It requires a positive individual with energy, drive and passion for building brands, as well as the ability to build relationships and negotiate with customers.

As a Regional Manager, what skills and qualifications will I need?

- Ideally a graduate level qualification or equivalent. Alternatively at least 9 GCSEs (or equivalent) at grade C or above, including Maths and English.
- An impressive track record in business to business sales.
- A proven ability to build and develop relationships.
- A record of achievement in a commercial environment, demonstrating excellence in both planning and implementation, including experience influencing and achieving commercial advantage.
- Strong interpersonal, influencing persuasion skills with the ability to work with a broad spectrum of internal and external contacts.

As a Regional Manager, what kind of responsibilities will I have?

- Develop the share of both volume and value of the key brands within designated customer base.
- Development of brand presence within existing customers and focused targeting of new business, maximising the use of centrally developed marketing support.
- Adhere to Heineken UK policies and procedures across all areas of responsibility.
- Ongoing customer review to identify opportunities.
- Propose investments with key partner customers in line with regional investment strategy.
- Develop customer partnership through the effective targeting of resources such as hospitality, free stock and other incentives.
- Ensure the effective ongoing management of the loan estate to deliver the required rates of return and levels of income.
