Job description
You will lead our strategic developments on the African continent in close relationship with the Managing Director. You will define the regional strategy, build or reinforce our distribution network and drive our brand investments.

In order to deliver high double digit growth in the region you will concentrate on:

-Strategic planning for Africa
-Sales management
-Brand planning
-Budget setting and monitoring
-Key account management
-New project development
-Office management
-Small team supervision

You will therefore be fully responsible and accountable for our operations in Africa.

Skills/Profile required:
-Graduate / post graduate in sales and marketing with a proven track record of success at senior export sales levels within the FMCG sector. Experience in the spirits industry a plus
-Strong commercial acumen and drive for results
-Clear strategic thinking required
-Strong marketing and brand building expertise
-Excellent negotiation skills
-Leadership skills
-Good planning, organisational and reporting capabilities
-French/English is a must, Spanish and/or Portuguese a plus.
This position will be based in South Africa and is an excellent opportunity for an experienced professional to take on a new challenge and have a significant impact upon a business. Potential for a rapid development to Area Director level. Remuneration package will reflect the importance of this position and will be based on background and experience.
