BACKGROUND
Vintage Roots, the UKs specialist supplier to trade of organic, biodynamic wines is looking to recruit a sales manager to manage existing accounts and to develop new business in London and the M25 corridor.
1. ESSENTIAL
A.Achievements, experience and knowledge
At least two years as sales manager in UK wines and spirits industry with demonstrable achievement of overall targets and developed relationships with clients
Understanding of the wine marketplace in the area as advertised
Able to operate within budget and timescales
B.Skills and abilities
Self motivated and well organised
Enthusiastic, genuine and passionate about own role and product offering
Understanding of and ability to commit to the organic wine trade
Good communication and presentation skills
An experienced negotiator and problem solver
PC/laptop literate
Can work to deadline
Willing to work evenings and weekends where required
C.Qualifications
Full, clean driving licence
D Environment
- has suitable space for home working
2. DESIRABLE
Diploma (WSET)
Experienced in the sales of organic and biodynamic wine
