The Role
The Senior Engineering Manager for automation will be responsible for the optimum operational availability of the process, filling and packaging automation systems. Through the creation and maintenance of an adequate skills base and the management of essential materials you will be responsible for all reactive and preventative schedules. An expert in the implementation and maintenance of automated systems and controls you will be responsible for maintaining the integrity of the process software at all times. The ideal applicant will have at least 8 years experience in a similar capacity within preferably a large dairy manufacturing environment using Siemens S7 and Wonderware PLC systems with a good understanding of visual basic/SQL
Only applicants that match the following experience will be considered
Degree in electrical or automation engineering
Minimum 8years FMCG experience as a site based senior automation engineer
Reactive and Preventative maintenance experience
Minimum 5 years Management experience
Staff training and development experience
