Senior Manager - Equipment Services Development
Do you have the vision and passion to shape and develop our incremental Equipment Services business across GB and Europe? Can you identify, develop and deliver new and existing customers, building and sustaining relationships with them in order to implement our ambitious vision for 2014 and ensure we deliver the challenging targets set for the Equipment Services team over the next few years? Your mission will be to deliver significant profitable revenue and OI by driving sales and customer service though our field service or refurbishment/logistic activities. Reporting to the Senior Manager Equipment Services GB as part of the Equipment Services team in Supply Chain, this role is home-based but requires significant travel (up to 70%) predominantly in GB and occasionally across Europe.
Key responsibilities:
Identify, plan and develop a new customer prospect strategy to develop and deliver our service business, through strong networking and communication skills.
Build and maintain a prospect database of all new and existing customer contacts, detailing the opportunity and potential to ensure delivery of revenue and OI targets.
Develop a financial analysis and review of each opportunity to ensure that it is in line with expected OI and revenue targets.
To liaise with key internal and external stakeholders e.g. field service teams, production, supply chain.
Ensure appropriate reporting and measurement is designed and implemented
Complete regular customer reviews to review service performance and identify opportunities for extension of service
Develop a thorough understanding of the competitive landscape monitoring when key contracts are ready for renewal.
Qualifications:
No specific qualification however previous operational or technical experience highly regarded
Skills and experience:
Previous experience of influencing customer at a corporate level with responsibility for relationship management across multiple customers and locations.
Previous experience and track record of building new business
Excellent negotiation and selling skills
Excellent Communication and stakeholder management skills
Evidence of successfully managing delivering budget
Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills
