The Role
The core purpose of the role is to manage the sensory and product guidance program across the Almarai product range. The ideal candidate will work currently in a similar capacity with expertise in the design, execution and reporting of all applied product research. This will involve arranging sensory and consumer insight analysis to chemical analysis for innovations and product development. Responsible for conducting a full spectrum of product validation you will have a flair for problem solving with demonstrable results in terms of commercially viable products. Reporting into the Divisional Product Development Manger the role will responsible for developing appropriate methodologies and maintaining an in-house expert and consumer panel. Ideally you will have gained your experience within the following food processing environments: Dairy, flavor additives, soups & sauces, ready meals, biscuit manufacture or cake bakery operations.
Essential requirements
Bachelors degree in food science and technology or experimental psychology
Worked within a similar capacity for a minimum of 3-5 years
Experience in design of experiment and statistical analysis
