Job Purpose

The web coordinator is responsible for all aspects of the armit website, including usability, marketing and, most importantly, driving more sales through the website. Reporting to the Head of Marketing, the web coordinator will work with the Head of Marketing and the Marketing Coordinator to improve the performance of the armit website whilst ensuring the armit brand is never compromised. The web coordinator will also be required to cover for two other websites which are run from the armit offices, Winedeal and Chineur du Vin. The candidate must therefore be fluent in French.

Key Accountabilities

Execute the Web Strategy
Implement all web aspects of the sales programme
Management of armits online presence
Monitor and improve the performance of the armit website
Introduce new forms of online marketing in accordance with the Head of Marketing
Drive more traffic to the website through SEO, Google Adwords
Increase e-commerce conversion rate
Use existing email platform MailPerformance to send all emails
Create HTML emails using Dreamweaver CS5
Manage the email database
Act as sales representative for web customers
Be the in-house expert for all website and email- related queries
Manage armits social media (Twitter, perhaps Facebook)
Manage, monitor and report using Google Analytics
Provide reporting on the website to the Head of Marketing

Key Performance Indicators

Improve results as measured by Google Analytics, including increased visits, page views, time on site, conversion, and decreased bounce rate
Improve armits ranking in search engines
All mailshots to be sent out as scheduled
All web pages to be ready in time for printed material landing date
Ensuring that the presentation of the armit website is of the same quality as the printed material
